Believe: An MKAL the Lasso Way
Baa-realis Fibre is pleased to be partnering with Lyrical Knits for the first time.
I've had Ted Lasso on my "to watch" list for a long time, and when Mary Annarella sent me the detail for this MKAL, I knew this was my chance. I'm one season in, and loving it! What a delight! Also to my delight I discovered that the colours in my new line of Yak yarn were absolutely perfect to represent the characters in this show.
This yarn base is a luxurious blend of 10% Yak, 10% Silk and 80% Superwash Wool. This means it's the perfect mix of warm, strong, and oh so soft and cozy, and has just a touch of shine to it. It softens as you knit, and just wait till you block it. It's sooooo good! Each kit comes with four full skein, 115 grams each (425 yards each)
Shall we take a look at the colours???
We'll start with a set that represents the full cast; the show as a whole. These classic colours represent AFC Richmond, the soccer field, and the beautiful British colours that show up in this show.
Next up, the man himself... Ted Lasso. Here is the ever positive coach, sporting his team colours, with his famous yellow BELIEVE sign to match.
Moving on to the girls... we know these ladies both have a flair for fashion... They may not wear knit shawls very often, but if they did, we know what colours they would be! Here is Rebecca and Keeley...
Speaking of people who don't wear knit shawls... haha, here's the guys! Jamie Tartt and Roy. I gotta tell you, these boys gave me a bit of a challenge. It was a bit of a struggle to find enough pictures of Tartt without his middle fingers up, and I didn't want to do an all black kit for Roy... but I think these ended up pretty good, haha!
So there you go! Six kits all ready to go... which one catches your eye?
And here's a piece of good news for you as well... if you want to try out this lucious yarn base, but don't quite love any of these colour combinations, there is an option to make your own kit as well, from any of the 11 colours in this line.

A little note about shipping...
Regretfully, as of right now we are currently unable to ship to the USA. I know, I'm sad about this too, but it's where things are at right now.
I will be out of town from Jan 27 - Feb 1. All orders received during this time will be shipped Feb 2 and 3. There's lots of time before the MKAL starts, and your yarn will get to you in plenty of time (barring any delays after shipping which are obviously out of my control). If kits sell out, I have the capacity to restock quickly and will ship kits in the order they were received, in plenty of time to arrive before the MKAL starts.
